Welcome

Welcome to Maison Bois Fleurie, a beautiful early 19th century house with its own chapel. Your hosts Paul & Sue Woods, resident owners for the last 17 years offer a warm welcome and will be happy to share their extensive local knowledge with you.

At one time this 1/2 hectare site was used as a convent. Now fully restored and refurbished, the house is an idyllic French retreat nestled away from the hustle and bustle of modern life and situated in the rural village of Souvigne.

We offer Chambre d'Hotes (Bed & Breakfast) accommodation. All rooms are en-suite, on the first floor and overlooking the garden.

On the ground floor is the beamed dining room and residents lounge.

A fridge is available adjacent to the residents lounge.

In summer guests can choose to have breakfast outside on the terrace.

The large garden is available for guests to relax in, and picnic if they wish.

We regret no Dogs are accepted.

Surrounded by some of France's most picturesque scenery with a wealth of interesting things to see and do for all ages, Maison Bois Fleurie makes for an enchanting base from which to explore this region of France. For a long break or if you are just stopping off on your journey you'll find a warm reception and a cosy room to relax and recharge.

Swimming Pool

There is a 5 m x 10 m swimming pool with sun terrace, sunbeds, and parasols. Enter by Grecian steps our 5 x 10 meter pool, which is situated to receive sunshine from dawn till dusk. The pool has a platform of 1.2 meter depth and then slopes from all directions to give a maximum depth of 1.8 meters, thus catering for all requirements. The pool is fenced & alarmed to conform to French safety standards.
